Due to various internal and external factors, the performance of solar panels can be limited. Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) techniques are used to maximize the power extracted. This work compares two MPPT methods: Perturb and Observe (P&O) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Using MATLAB Simulink, we evaluate their performance, efficiency, complexity and adaptability to environmental variations. The structure of the dissertation includes the study of stand-alone photovoltaic systems, DC-DC boost converters, the development of simulation blocks, and the comparative analysis of results to determine the most efficient method.enPhotovoltaïqueMPPTBoostMaximiserPuissance.Comparative study of classical and metaheuristic MPPT control of the stand-alone photovoltaic systemThesis
